Lending for both owner occupiers and investors took a breather in June and dipped lightly (above).
Investor Ratio of Total New Lending
The ratio of investors edged up half a percent to 32.8. That's up from the lows of around 27% in August last year, but far below the peak of 55% in 2015. The expectation is for price rises to continue to entice investors back into the market.
